We did it again! A three-peat! Inc. Magazine today ranked T3 Expo number 1172 on its 36th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment— its independent small and midsized businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.
“We are honored to be named again for the third year in a row to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the United States,” said Chris Valentine, chief executive officer, T3 Expo. “It is even more of an honor to know that we are one in five companies to make this list three years in a row! This is a testament to our employees, our partners, suppliers and our clients. Each one of them has been critical for our growth and our success.”
The 2017 Inc. 5000 was unveiled online at Inc.com and with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc. (available now on newsstands). It is the most competitive crop in the list’s history.
The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year average growth of 481 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $206 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 619,500 jobs over the past three years. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.
"The Inc. 5000 is the most persuasive evidence I know that the American Dream is still alive,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk taking, and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them.”
Added Schurenberg, “Companies that made the list, on average, have grown six-fold since 2013. Over a stretch when the economy grew just 6.7 percent, that’s a result most businesses could only dream of. This is T3 Expo’s third time on the Inc. 5000, which is a truly extraordinary accomplishment.”
According to Inc. Magazine, the list gets harder every year as a company’s starting base grows. Of the tens of thousands of companies that have applied to the Inc. 5000 over the years, only a fraction have made the list more than once. A mere one in five have made the list three times.
